Charlie Nikolic Project Director, Charlie Nikolic currently a Financial Director of Heritage Architecture Ltd, London . Financial Management Consultant with extensive experience in the financial sector of the modern business in UK . He is the elected, full member of MAAT and the MIoD- Institute of  Directors @ 116 PALL MALL, London .

Completed education at London LVMT Business School, and has successfully provided the financial advice and services to: News International, Tax assist Direct, LukOil, NSCC,AICA, European Union YO, French Oil companies and has supported diversity of businesses with statutory statements, strategy and directions.

Charlie has been involved as a project manager in development schemes of Camden Lock Village , Kings Cross St Pancras & Victoria Station in Manchester .

He has supported a number of humanitarian projects through the Serbian Society and Serbian Council of Great Britain. In 2007 he was a project director of the concert bringing Belgrade Opera and members of the  (RTS) Orchestra to London in a bid to introduce that part of Serbian culture and heritage to the British audiences. He has also been financially supporting Serbian Society's children school "Poletarac" for many years.

Natural born poet, Charlie is expecting his first book of poems to be published in 2009. He has a great interest in sailing, adventure travelling, art & music.


Silva Silva McQueen studied singing at the Belgrade Music Academy with Aleksandra Ivanovic. She joined the Radio and Television of Serbia choir in Belgrade, where she was a frequent soloist, and completed a year’s course for opera singers at the National Theatre in Belgrade, including a staged performance of Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro. She was awarded a full scholarship to Trinity College of Music, where she completed her postgraduate studies with distinction, studying with Wendy Eathorne, and was subsequently offered a scholarship to study at the Royal Academy of Music. She has toured throughout Europe with Die Münchener Operabühne, and with Trinity College of Music she sang Berlioz’ Les Nuits d’Été and worked with Jorma Panula as the soloist in Sibelius’ Kullervo Symphony. Silva was also a regular soloist with the Victorian and Edwardian group The Bold Balladiers, with whom she performed extensively in Scotland, Yorkshire and London. More recent engagements have included solo soprano in Mozart’s Requiem Mass, Mozart’s Coronation Mass and Haydn’s Pauken Messe, as well as solo recitals at the Serbian Embassy, St. Martin in the Fields and St. James’s Piccadilly.

 

Bojana Bojana Dimkovic - piano
Bojana was born in Belgrade, Serbia, where she began studying the piano at the age of seven. Her successes in national and international piano competitions include Cita di Stresa (Italy), Nikolai Rubinstein (France) and International Competition ‘Petar Konjovic’ (Serbia), in both solo and piano duo categories. Bojana won scholarships to study at the Purcell School, and later at the Guildhall School of Music, studying with Charles Owen and Caroline Palmer. Concert appearances have included Buckingham Palace, Wigmore Hall, LSO St. Luke's, St. John Smith’s Square, St. Martin-in-the-Fields, Queen Elizabeth Hall, The Warehouse and major concert halls in Belgrade. She has performed in the UK, Serbia, Italy and the Republic of Ireland. Festivals include Hampstead/Highgate Festival, Tudeley Festival, Handel Festival, John Ireland Festival, Bach Festival and the Cheltenham Festival. Daisy Daisy Vatalaro

Daisy read Music and History of Art at Clare College, Cambridge before completing her Masters with Steven Doane at the Eastman School of Music, New York. She was a founder member of the Bronte String Quartet, whose prizes include the Royal Overseas League Chamber Music prize and the 8th International String Quartet Competition in Cremona. With them she performed at venues including the Wigmore Hall, QEH, Purcell Room, Snape Maltings and St George’s Bristol, appeared regularly on BBC Radio 3, and at festivals such as Cheltenham, Edinburgh and Chelsea. Daisy now freelances, playing with various chamber ensembles and orchestras including the Philharmonia Orchestra and the Scottish Chamber Orchestra. She has toured and recorded with jazz and rock groups including Gilad Atzmon, Robert Wyatt and Elysian Fields and also plays Baroque cello.
Associate Director of Arts Enrichment for Pro Corda, Daisy also teaches Dalcroze Euryhthmics at Junior Guildhall, has coached chamber music at the Royal College of Music, Trinity College of Music and Junior Guildhall, and taken part in education work for the Wigmore Hall, Spitalfields Music and the Florestan Festival. She has written arts articles for the FT Magazine and sleevenotes for recordings by the Dante Quartet and Aronowitz Ensemble.

 

 

Sara Sara Cluderay – soprano

Sara studied singing at Trinity College of Music, under John Wakefield. Opera includes: The principal soprano roles of Olympia, Giulietta, Antonia and The Muse in Cirque d’Hoffmann - a new version of Offenbach’s Tales of Hoffmann with Arkadia Opera Zirkus (UK tour), La Traviata with Dartington Festival Opera and Uncle Remus with Pegasus Opera (Hackney Empire). Concerts include Barbican, Corsham Festival, Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival, the National Portrait Gallery, St. Martin-in-the-Fields and recently A Glamorous Life? with pianist Kate Ryder at the Space, London. Sara is a chorister at West London Synagogue and has sung with the choir at Westminster Abbey. Sara has also performed as a session singer with rock band The Clint Boon Experience, including tours of major UK rock venues and festivals, supporting headlining acts including Travis and Echo & the Bunnymen, recordings for Universal, and broadcasts for BBC Radio 1 and Channel 4 Television. Vesna Stanojevic Vesna Stanojević (glumica)

Završila je glumu u klasi profesora Vladimira Jevtovića na Beogrdskoj Akademiji, 1988. godine. Svoju profesionalnu karijeru je zapocela 1986. godine i od tada je igrala u predstavama Nardonog Pozorišta (Maska), Jugoslovenskog Dramskog (Ball, Buđenje proleća, Pozorište Šopalaović, Oluja) Ateljea 212 (Žabar), Beogradskog dramskog pozorišta (Novo je doba, Ludak i opatica), Pozorišta na Terazijama (Poziv u dvorac, Srce od rubina, Vrteška), Bitef Tetaru (Dom Bernarde Albe, Slika Dorijana Greja, Magbet traži Magbeta, Nik Kejv), u SKC-u (Trio, Lovely Rita,) u Sava Centru (Kosa, Ostrvo Ister Teatra), Gardoš (Igre ljubavi i mržnje).
Snimila je igrane filmove: Poslednji krug u Monci, Tri karte za Holivud, Tamna je noć, Zaboravljeni, Tito i ja. Za igrani program televizije Beograd snimila je : Dome slatki dome, Gospođa ministarka, Igre duha i tela, Pod zrvnjem, Blod plovi za Šangaj. Snimila je i više radio drama za Radio Beograd.
1994. odlazi za Englesku gde završava praktične, četvorogodišnje studije glumačke tehnike Dramski Telesni Izraz, Etinne Decroux-a; snimila je filnove Helena, Only by Chance, Shraud, My Father Eduardo, Hotel Belgrade, Moskow thetare Siege; radi za dramski program na BBC radiju (Solo Behind The Iron Curtain). Od 2005. godine predaje glumu na londonskom fakultetu Central School of Speech and Drama.
Od skora je u saradnji sa novootvorenim pozorištem u Lonodnu, Print Room, sa kojim sarađuje na projektu Balkan. Naša publika je imala prilike ponovo da je vidi u seriji Greh njene majke.

 

Djordje Perendija Djordje Perendija

Visual Art and Design Consultant

Graduated at the Faculty of Visual Fine Arts, Belgrade, and obtained a masters degree in 3D Computer Graphics at Middlesex University, London. As a  a visual artist, Djordje has been exhibiting graphic, paintings and sculptural art works in numerous group exhibitions since 1976  He also took part in design of several proposals for public spaces in several major cities and had one-man exhibitions in Belgrade (Republic of Serbia), Zagreb (Republic of Croatia), Sarajevo (Bosnia & Herzegovina), Exeter & London (United Kingdom) For more information, please visit

Divna Gakovic Divan Zarko Gakovic, Piano

started playing the piano since 1999 and has enjoyed playing a wide range of musical instruments such as the flute, clarinet, recorder and the steel pans. She has always found that music, especially the piano; have allowed her to evoke the divine nature within her soul. Along with music she has involved herself in various sports mainly netball and basketball. She is currently undertaking A levels at Lansdowne College: English Literature, History, Politics and Drama. This year she will hopefully start her first year at Sheffield University where she will be doing an English Literature degree. In the past she has taken part in many recitals and concerts and has enjoyed sharing the awe of the sound of the piano with others, especially when it has a purpose of helping charities.

 

Aleksandar Gakovic Aleksandar Zarko Gakovic, Piano

started playing the piano in the early 1998, and he is currently on grade 8. His interest in playing piano has been fuelled by discovering that playing piano evokes the tranquillity from within his soul. It has always been the perfect device to express his feelings and who he truly is as a person but most importantly it has imbedded in his character completely different dimension about life and music in particular. His strongest area is classical jazz and he has also composed and adapts music of his own. At the moment he is in his first year of University in Bangor undertaking Masters in Marine Biology. In the past he has taken part in many recitals including winning 1st prise at the Ealing festival for young musicians and various others. He has performed in the night bars playing jazz music which has allowed him to gain real experience on the stage and engage with public.

 

Aron Aaron Newland-Bentley

Conducting, Singing and Piano
Aaron started his musical career at age 11 when he began taking lessons in conducting and voice, his experiences since then have been vast, from conducting Orchestral and Operatic works such as: Stravinsky’s Rite of Spring and Mozart’s the marriage of Figaro, to amateur Musical Theatre productions such as: Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Sweeney Todd, West Side Story and Into the Woods.  During sixth form Aaron attended the junior department at the Royal Northern College of Music, studying conducting and voice.  Since leaving education Aaron is a full time singing teacher in the West Yorkshire area, working with children and adults of all ages in High School, Stage School and University, as well as having a flourishing private practice.  He continues his training with Mary Hammond and is currently beginning the certification process in the Estill method.

Scott has also recently appeared at this years BBC Proms in the Royal Albert Hall with the BBC Symphony Orchestra and choir singing ‘Berlioz – Te Deum’

As well as Scott’s performance experience, he is a highly experienced singing and acting tutor who works freelance in and around London. Working at some of the top performing arts school in the country including Guildford School of Acting and Mountview. He is the resident voice coach and musical director for Primoatto Producitions and has found himself travel as far afield as central Europe to give workshops and train students currently in drama schools. Other companies Scott regularly finds himself teaching for include The Courage to Sing, Enfield Grammar School, TeacherAct, The Brit School and Singer Station. Scott is very excited to currently be in the process of setting up and establishing his own performing arts school in Glasgow called ‘Harrison-Stevens Theatre Arts’ which will be opening in the Autumn.

 

Jasmina Jasmina Stosic

trained professionally as a dancer for 7 years at The Urdang Academy of Ballet and Performing Arts in Covent Garden, London. Professional dance credits include: The Wiz, Alice and Elementi at The Bloomsbury Theatre, Global Spirit at The Peacock Theatre and numerous other performances at The Beck Theatre, The Rudolph Steiner Theatre and The Cochrane Theatre. After finishing her dance training, Jasmina was accepted to train at Guildford School of Acting Conservatoire from which she graduated in 2007 with a 1st  class BA(hons) in Acting and Musical Theatre. Professional Acting credits include: Sweeney Todd at The Royal Festivall Hall, Jenufa at The Arcola Theatre and The Dybbuk at The King’s Head Theatre for which she received critical acclaim for the role of Leah( see below). Jasmina also directs- recently she finished assistant directing four short plays: Duty, Life without..., Every Girl, The End.. at the National Theatre Studios which have the potential of a West End transfer later this year. Jasmina is part of an ongoing vocal project -  Perunika Trio - who specialise in accapella Eastern European folk. With Perunika Trio she has performed at many prestigious festivals and theatre including: Chichester Festival Theatre, Thames Festival 2009, Farnham Maltings, Queen’s Hall, Prema Arts Centre to name a few... Most recently Perunika Trio have recorded with the world renowned, award winning Transglobal Underground and feature on their new album UNITE -A Gathering of Strangers.
